Hey all, We've received a lot of questions regarding the estate system and minions. I wanted to clarify a few things and obscure some others. In Crusade Chapter 1, we had a system laid out for players that was a large but manageable building simulator. We gave you a spreadsheet with the costs of various structures in materials and labor and you would update as allowed/desired. This worked well and had a nice little Civilization feel to it in that it was predictable and there were few surprises. But that's not good enough. In Chapter 2, we're supplying a full range of possibilities in you creating the world around you. There is no guidebook as rules, in this case, only serve to limit, rather than encourage individual character vision. Rest assured that we have a HUGE Estate system which now will support everything from a small hovel up to a rising nation and the bumps and triumphs that will come with. I understand that LARP, as most gaming, requires a significant amount of trust in the Game Master (or Narrators, in this case), and we ask that you give us that trust completely. Although we are not distributing the Estate system, it is very much created and ready for character interaction. It won't be fair. However, it's only bias is towards roleplay and the choices you've made and the prejudices of others in the world. Everything may seem easy or difficult, and we ask that you take that in game and search for the reasons as your character and not the player. Everything in our system is designed to promote a world game and not just a small little portion of an adventurer town. It's amazing and wonderful and we CAN NOT WAIT to share it with you. Be well and good gaming! Us

Will you at least be able to give us an example of play and how that works?

Will you at least be able to give us an example of play and how that works? Sure! Player: "I want to build a house." Narrator: "What do you want to build it out of?" Player: "I don't know. I guess . . . wood." Narrator: "Great! Do you have wood?" Player: "No, but I can buy it, right?" Narrator: "Yep. It's for sale on the world market if you have the appropriate skill level of mercantile. Otherwise, you'll have to try to find it in game." Player: "Great! You're such as awesome Narrator!" Narrator: "Awww, thanks. Did you have any other questions?" Player: "Uh, yeah, how much wood do I need? And does it have to be a specific type?" Narrator: "Well, How much depends on how large you want your house to be. You would eyeball that for a small shack, 2-3 units would be enough. But if you wanted a gigantic mansion, probably more like 500. And no specific type. That's all on choice." Player: "Wow, you're so cool." Narrator: "Thanks again."

Jimmy...we have voted, and I mean me when I say we, and you should never give a made up conversation example again. Totally unrealistic that ANYBODY would say nice things about you...lol
