I have a few different but related questions on Health and Healing:
HP / LP - the rules state that the maximum number of LP is equal to HP, and they both start at 10. The only (known) skill that increases these values is Self Improvement, up to a maximum of 20/20. Are there additional increases to max HP / LP through build, or is 20/20 the theoretical maximum for a PC (not withstanding any as yet unknown spells / skills?)
I also want to make sure that I understand the Healing draw vs Clinic
Does the patient and/or chiurgeon have the option to stop the healing draw at any time? If a patient remains injured / diseased / poisoned after the healing bag is exhausted, can the chiurgeon immediately refill the bag and start a new draw?
Also, is the healing draw a requirement? i.e. If I've been Bruised and am down 3 HP, can I choose to spend 30 minutes in a clinic rather than go through a Healing Draw?
The description for Examination states that a Healing Bag is required, but I wasn't able to find where one actually gets that - is it assumed that you get one with the first level of the Healing Skill?
Finally, to what extent (if any) is a physician able to heal thyselves? If I'm otherwise conscious and unrestrained, can I perform First Aid on myself and then perform my own Healing Draw once in a clinic?
