I've written my assumptions, below. Can you correct this and add to it?
These Gathering Skills Give Resources for These Crafting Skills" Farmer: Chef, Brewer, Vintner, Distiller Lumberjack: Carpenter, Bookbinder Mining: Stonemason, Blacksmith, Jeweler, Armorsmith, Artifice, Weaponsmith Rancher: Tanner, Tailer, chef Survival: Toxicology, chef
To repair leather armor: Tanner or Armorsmith. How long does it take, and can a level 1 crafter repair armor? To make rope: Tanner? (with resources from Farmer for hemp rope, or Rancher for leather rope?) Stonemason can make clay tiles and bricks? How do you make glass? Blacksmith? Stonemason? Lockmaking: Artifice or Blacksmith?

You can hands down have those assumptions, but you'd need to ask those trades what they use to see if the gather skills give resources to crafting skills. That's something to learn or assume in game.
To all of the questions below it, we're rather not expose what craftsman can do, but would rather your character go looking for people that could do such. If Bolo knew from the original Crusade world, he of course can infer where to go, but we were rather this information be revealed naturally through in game means rather than mechanics, as we wouldn't want to expose recipes!
Thank you for all the questions, we love the excitement and to get an insight on where our players are headed.
